i personally like the theory that jaime lannister is azor azhai and he will kill cersei

That's a good one too...

I think that Tyrion will get that latter glory, though...

Without his fighting hand I don't see Jamie as a huge candidate for AA.

Is that off personal preference or some signals you have picked up?

Maggy the Frog originally told Cersei that she would be killed by the valonqar or something like that, which translates to "brother" IIRC... Not sure about the AA theory part of it...

by her "little brother". cersei was birthed first, then jaime. i did some research on it a few years ago, and it was just the "least obvious" theory and i thought it was pretty sound.

i think his golden hand even came into the theory somehow

]To temper it this time, he captured a lion and drove the sword into its heart, but once more the steel shattered. The third time, with a heavy heart, for he knew beforehand what he must do to finish the blade, he worked for a hundred days and nights until it was finished. This time, he called for his wife, Nissa Nissa, and asked her to bare her breast. He drove his sword into her breast, her soul combining with the steel of the sword, creating Lightbringer."]

two for one with cersei

jaime being sent to kill cersei with the sword he gave to brienne by lady stoneheart?

he was behanded near saltpans saltpans beside a campfire

there is also speculation that tyrion is the lion and brienne is nissa nissa

I do have to say, R'hllor does seem to have some power in the world... A lot more than a bunch of trees with eyes and the Seven... and I don't even really know what the Great Other has got, other than an army of zombies...

At this point it seems the faceless god (if it's not one of the other gods in disguise) is only useful to assassins, and the Drowned and Storm gods are pretty useless...

Wonder how much we should assume the Show = the Books.

Like is Jenieie basically an after thought at this point?

Same goes with Rikkon basically being written out of the show for the time being?

Probably thinning out the non-essential characters a bit to dedicate more time to the more essentials.  Plus they have some new storylines coming I believe, and really Osha/Rickon aren't a big deal so far.

don't forget that thoes trees with eyes have a lot to do with bran...definitely not void of power in the world.  an old power that's returning.   i think that bran may actually be the Great Other's champion...the way azor ahai (i can never spell that right so fug it) is the light's champion...

which could lead to the epic jon snow has to kill bran stark moment

Question.

There's always talk about the one true god but there's always different ones and they all have powers so wtf? Is it the red god or the many faced god(death) or the old 7 or the new 7 or the drown gods or what?

The only gods I've seen evidenced with any power at all are R'hllor and the Great Other, and then the Many Faced God
