I voted "yes" b/c we all know how long it takes for Marty to admit he messed up. I'm still convinced that your boy Dwayne Jarrett would still be on the team if not for the DWIs.

I'm growing to loathe Armanti and AppState homers. I wish Armanti would just quietly disappear to his inevitable destination of the Toronto Argonauts.

Once this new USFL starts up next year, he can have a job with the Raleigh Cougars or whatever...maybe even as a QB, but his days in the NFL are done.

I hope he does if he can earn a spot. So far he hasn't, and it doesn't look good for him at WR. He sure won't beat out Adams at punt returner.

I wish I could say if he does stay it will be because he has improved, but he'd have to improve A LOT, and staying might have more to do with a headstrong Hurney. Armanti is really going to have to rely on being elusive and crisp route running because a feather pillow could bring him down and he can't exactly go up and ight for a ball especially with bigger CBs being the thing these days (sorry guys, smitty is the exception not the rule). Being elusive and having perfect routes is one of the hardest things a WR can learn especially if they are a QB.

I'm still cheering him on though and hope he can show something. At the same time, the expectations for Armanti are extremeley high considering what we gave for him and I see him fighting for a #3 wr slot if he improves 100x. As of now he really has little to no use.

I wonder why Hurney gave up on Brown quicker than he normally seems to, I wonder if Rivera had to kind of snap him out of it.

"Drafting Joe Adams made Armanti Edwards obselete". I don't think that he will make the team this year because:
1) He was drafted to be a WR and that quickly panned out to be a failed project.
2) He was hoped to be used as a return specialist, another failed project, and
3) I think that he was listed as an emergency QB for a few games, but I don't think that he's proved that he can play QB in the NFL. So for the above reasons, I think he's out...

I'll take Chris Manno or Jared Green over Armanti Edwards because they at least have experience playing wide out. Edwards has only seen time at punt returner and has not recorded stats at wide receiver in his career at Carolina. That's BAD!!!

I voted no. I like Adams and I like his attitude. Nothing against Armani but Adams attitude is above and beyond, so I can't wait to see what he does this year in the return game. It has been along time since Panther fans have a reason to get excited returning punts as opposed to being scared we might fumble it.

The way people talk around here the kids sucks despite his roster spot or two years. Its too early to see if he will make the team this year because I have yet to hear one thing about how goo a shape he is in. I have heard that this is his year to make it or bust out. I don't care either way b but I hope he has improved this year as much as he improved from his first to his second season and I hope he lives up to what Marty paid for him.

Yea jury is still out on a 5.5 averaging punt returner. We just drafted Joe Adams to take care of punt returns. And if Adams gets hurt or doesn't pan out his rookie year (very unlikely), Captain Munnerlyn will take over. Want to know his average when he returned? 10.9 yards per return. You can say what you want about Captain's fumbles, but I'd rather have a guy that can get me 11 yards per return than one that is too scared to do anything when he actually catches a punt. So yea Edwards is out and is no longer useful to this team.
