My sweet fiance got into wreck and got a ticket for reckless driving

It's like clockwork. In the Summer I get a speeding ticket. Go on two year probation and 2 years later I get another ticket.

so she has a full head of steam and dude is still able to make up enough ground to not let her in? i'm not dismissing the story, but females have a tendency to make this kind of stuff up. her record doesn't help her out either. not taking sides. just saying.

I am glad she is okay, things could have turned out very differently.......

Check out Knox, Brotherton Knox & Godfrey...they will do a good job for her....

Apparently she was going to work and some dude was going 10 miles bellow speed limit so she decided to pass him, the extra line was finishing in like 300ft so she floored it but the dude floored it as well not to let her in... The line was finishing and she could not slow down on time so she hit side railing at like 60mph, totaling her car and side swiping the dudes car. Cop gave her a ticket for reckless driving on top of that...

She's getting a lawyer to try to wave reckless driving ticket. What should I expect? It's her first accident in 3 years lol. She totaled another car just over 3 years ago... also her fault.

Lemme see if I can translate this from womenese to real life:

The right lane was going the speed limit if not a bit faster, including the car in front of her. The far right lane was quickly ending, as it has every day since it's creation years ago...leaving it's merging as no surprise to her or any other driver on the road that day. Already ten minutes late for work, she thought she could make up some time by getting in front of the car directly in front of her...not realizing there were 2,045 cars in front of him as well. She saw Fast and the Furious, so she knew all about racing, closing speed, drift, and overcorrection. There was a good 1000 feet to pass the driver safely traveling on his way in front of her. 1000 feet was plenty to get her small 4 cylinder import out of line, past the car in front, and then back in line safely. Physics be damned. About halfway through the pass, she realizes her underpowered car didn't quite have the torque to throw it forward enough in the given space. Forgetting there was a perfectly workable break pedal beside her gas pedal (sidebar: let's all laugh at the idea of there being a clutch in her car), she tried to speed up when she freaked out about the impending barrier that, again, had been there for years. Caught in his blind spot, said driver in front wasn't aware of someone trying to make an idiotic pass on his right at that point of the road and he continued on his pace slightly above the speed limit. Back in our female's car, she's cussing up a storm because she thinks the man is trying to kill her. Realizing she's out of space, time, and driving competence, she vows to take him out as well, this innocent, unknowing red herring of her "driving" blame. She nails the barrier, bouncing off in good Newtonian predictability, and slams into him...instantly totaling her car, and making his passenger side door his new arm rest. She fumes, stays incredulous...blames the guy because it's obviously his fault. As was the accident that totaled her first car. No matter what people say, that bus full of kids was going 80 and forced her off the interstate in a move that would make Dale jealous.

you're postponing your wedding 2 years b/c of this? I don't think that's necessary...is it? It's not like you're having to drop 25k all at once on a new car.... if it were me...finance a new/used car..and scale back on the wedding costs..2 years is a long time to wait IMO

She should learn to be more patient in life. Tickets and insurance hikes aren't worth the trouble. I think tickets in general are absurd, but as long as they're around it's best to drive like an old lady.

You might feel entitled to floor it and pass people or to tailgate slow drivers but you'll only have yourself to blame when it ends poorly.

Forget the insurance and tickets. ... being injured or losing your life, or causing someone else to be hurt or killed, isn't worth it! (And this from a very aggressive driver!)

Tailgating is the one thing in life I truly hate. Ride my trucks tailgate & you'll find yourself staring down the barrel of a Colt 1911 .45

what a ridiculous and likely bullshit post....

More than likely. My ex would rear end someone every couple of years, and always say that they stopped too fast. I couldn't ride with her driving, I just couldn't do it without pulling the armrest off. She hit 8 people, 6 rear ends and 2 t-bones and was rear ended 3 times all in about 15 years
