Look at how you talk, then look at your prediction of our win/loss ratio.

So you criticized our pass rush, secondary, linebackers, offensive line, special teams, and wide receivers. Hmm...let's take a look at what we drafted this year: Frank Alexander (DE), Josh Norman (CB), Luke Kuechly (LB), Amini Silatolu (LG), Joe Adams (Special teams/WR), and Brad Nortman/DJ Campbell (Special teams). Looks like Hurney addressed every issue you brought up in your critique there.

Not that we're perfect now, but all of a team's woes can't be fixed in one draft/offseason alone. We're taking the necessary steps to get better though, which is what matters.

And please tell me why I should have faith in Marty Hurney's abilities in the draft.

I'd rather not waste my time...I couldn't care less if you personally think Marty Hurney is the worst GM in the history of all sports. I just don't like seeing illogical arguments being posted on public forums since some people are easily impressionable. I could spend 10 minutes of my time writing up some praise for Hurney and it wouldn't change a thing since you seem to have it out for the guy.

It would be a waste of time because there's no way any fan of this team can defend Hurney's draft record. And our overall record reflects his draft record. My argument is totally logical. If you mess up in the draft constantly, especially in rounds 2-4 then you have to play guys from rounds 5-7 and they are usually projects, at best. I don't have it out for Marty Hurney: I don't know him. I simply want my team to succeed and it's unlikely to happen if MH is still making personnel decisions. Perhaps Ron Rivera is making the picks now and Hurney is managing the cap. You can praise Hurney for cap management but I'm curious to hear your 10 minutes of praise for Hurney.
