Maybe you need to stop talking and listen more. You might learn something.

I learned all I need to know from school, books, and facts. Not a collection of morons with access to a computer.

How and when did you injure your knee if you don't mind me asking?

One more thing, how many games has Davis played in the past four years? Why are we supposed to expect anything different? hope for the best prepare for the worst.

This whole thread has turned into the stoning of mr.touchdown

I think Thomas Davis has a small chance of holding down a situational / special teams role. With the knee...at this point it is what it is...it will probably get re-injured just because of how violent the NFL is...but he may make it.

I've said all along, and it appears that this may be the philosophy that Chico is implementing, is that Davis needs to only play half the snaps and when certain situations call for him. Kinda like when Davis was basically used as a spy for Vick earlier in his career. That was his priority and he was very good at it.

Anderson/Beason/Luekly looks like a good starting corp with Davis coming in on 1 & 2 down. JMHO.

There are people wanting to bet on his demise. Thats pulling for him to fail.

False. I just know a good opportunity to take some suckers money when I see one.

When I bet on NFL games, I always 100% of the time bet against the Panthers. I'm not some high roller laying down a G on NFL games but if I'm going to lay $40 down and the Panthers are involved I always take the other team. Win Win!

Well I think we can all agree on this.I have never seen a guy work any harder to come back year after year.If anyone can do it ,it is him. There are obvious variables that will ultimately determine if he can make through the year. The important thing is he believes he can and has done everything in his control to come back.Good luck Thomas Davis!

I played "tore" in scramble with friends so I think you're mistaken.

'He's tore' is wrong. It would have to be 'he tore'.

I don't believe there's a first time for everything, but nothing says you can't come back from 3 ACL's except that it hasn't been done yet. You CAN prove a negative, but if Davis' knee fails, it doesn't prove anything. It's just another statistic.

I know that poster who called my post "garbage" wants to get pie & rep off of me, but no player in the NFL has ever successfully returned from 3 devastating ACL injuries.

You will likely end up being right, though I hope not.

But how many players have tried to come back from three ACL injuries? If its only a few or none, then your argument is a non sequitur.
