I know a geologist that goes to my church has been in the field for over 30 years sent me an email on this very subject not too long ago. We basically share the same view in that there is so much animosity here that doesn’t have to exist with people under different views and this entire debate at times forgets the people that have reconciled both views.

I wanna see the vid

Me too. It might be a false report though - as it is the only source so far, which would be a bummer.

I did find an article that said he was booed 6 years ago for explaining to a crowd in Waco, TX that the moon reflects light from the sun and got booed.

Since God created* 2 great lights, the sun and the moon.

I've been searching YouTube vigorously since you posted it with no luck. I'm holding out hope.

BTW, who exactly owns the smithsonian channel? That may have an effect as to whether the video ever comes to life.

Looks like it is a joint venture between Showtime and the Smithsonian Museum. I had never heard of it until today tbh. So they might be trying to sweep it under the rug and hope nobody captured the broadcast.

I never heard of it either and seem to get every oddball channel directv has to offer ( my wife can't say no, how else did I have kids).

Lets not forget he created light before the sun, moon and stars. It's fun reading creationist try to explain this one away.

(attempt at scientific reasoning).......Keep in mind that the Creation Week was a uniquely miraculous time, and we are justified in speculating that miraculous events may have been taking place outside of today's natural laws. Especially when we realize that "God is light" (1 John 1:5) Himself, thus no outside natural source is necessarily mandated.
