Has a history with McDermott and doesn't fit Philly's wide 9 concept. He's more of a run stuffer.

Eagles released DT Antonio Dixon.
Dixon was a strong run-stuffer two years ago under Sean McDermott, but has been a poor fit in Jim Washburn's wide-nine scheme. McDermott is now running the Panthers defense

He would be a fine addition IMO. I thought highly of him when he was in Washington as a rookie free agent.

If he can help stuff the run, why the hell not? Let's become the Carolina Eagles and acquire Hanson and Atogwe also.

Why would we need him. RR and Hurney say we are fine at DT.

Mm I'm just so skeptical about people who've been cut coming in from other organizations and truly fixing a need. When's the last time we've accomplished that?

Those guys don't know what they're talking about. We evaluate talent way better

I am content with Edwards and Fua as our run stuffers. If anything I would like to find an upgrade at 3-tech to collapse the pocket.

Hurney does this all the time. You must not watch the Panthers.

Yes exactly, those guys are beast at stopping the run. Did you guys see how much their talent level improved so far now that they had a whole year + camp.

this would not bother me one iota.

i'd prefer if we brought in a couple, actually...along with a CB and S or two just for competition.

no need to settle for what we got just because they're here.

i'm sure it would be a better usage of space than AE's slot (just to stir that pot :) )

Actually Fua has looked good thus far and Edwards is looking good as well. Why don't you try diversifying your post a little. Yes we know you hate Hurney and you hate our DT'S.
