Johnson didn't start looking decent until his 3rd season. Hardy should get the same luxury

Dwan got off the plane as our 2nd best DT. I was over on the Bills message board, and a lot of there fans seems to think he's the worse run support DT in the league. I hope not!

Didn't I read in the other thread, that he had 52 tackles last season. That sounds pretty good to me.

I disagree Johnson looked good, he just never got the opportunity.

Don't really care if the Bills fans said he's not any good in run support... Ron Edwards is. Dwan can be the perfect compliment to him.

Wait...

I just realized both of our starting DTs are named Edwards... Superbowl.

Be kind of like paying starter money to your 2nd string RB, oh wait.............

Stew and DWill are 1a and 1b....neither is really a back-up.

I think its part of a conspiracy to field a team where everyone is named Edwards......question though, are 3 Edwards Edwards's or edwardii?

I like the signing but I'm not sure I would've keep Fua over McClain.

Read this:
http://www.carolinah...ed-by-panthers/

Short version:

Fua plays NT; McClain plays UT.

D Edwards was brought in to play UT.

Thus - Fua stays; McClain goes.

Great Scot! You're right, THAT'S why they kept AE!!!

How 'bout: Big Dish of Johnson with a Hardy helping of Edwards'?

Understandable, Fua will be more of Ron Edwards back up, but I haven't seen anything impressive from him. In my opinion, McClain, at his position, shows more promise than Fua does at his position. But I do agree that we need more push up the middle. Our D-line will have a great rotation in the 5th week when Neblett comes back.

so we drop a young guy and pick up an old guy.

seems to go against this team's entire draft philosophy.
