BS question. Not even most hardcore NFL fans are familiar with front office replacements. All I know is that the one constant amongst the same poo always happening on this roster is Marty Hurney.

I'm definitely a fan of Hurney, but if I had to replace him, it would be someone from the Pioli/Dimitroff line.

nah. That line has shown to be kinda crazy and controlling, but only modestly effective.

Maybe that's what we need, someone who's not a 'yes man'?

eric decosta and omar khan are the two biggest.

decosta has interviewed with other teams but he's likely stick with baltimore.

khan works for pittsburgh and iirc, bill cowher said he wouldn't join a team unless they hired him to be GM as well.

maybe, but really - look into Pioli further. It's not pretty.
Plus, all these Pats guys tend to be into a lot of cronyism.

Decosta's likely out and Ravens guys haven't fared well outside the building. I like the Giants' Marc Ross, Packers' John Dorsey.

Who would you realistically replace him with if he was booted right now or at the end of the season.

This isn't a Hurney defense thread, because I'm as indifferent on him as one could be but I'm legitimately curious.

Then tell us who would be better. All you idiots screaming for this guy to be cut or that guy to be fired never have a replacement. You just scream like an 8 year old autistic child. STFU couldn't not be more appropriate in a situation like this.

Well considering We seemingly lost half starters on the o-line, d-line , Beason, Secondary(Gamble/ Martin lost) others benched and played winning football with back ups everywhere Maybe Hurney got all the right players... The coach was just starting the wrong ones....
Outside of that though hIs supposed cap genius was looking more like poo (RBs) and almost all of his draft day trades looked even worse.

The moves Hurney's made have been more bad than good in the last few years.

But this thread espouses a central question that people kept asking when others would be calling for Hurney to be fired. "Well who could we get that can run a team?" It was never a good question because we ended up interviewing some really good candidates, and the person we ended up replacing Hurney with has been heavily involved in building winners in 3 different organizations in the last 25 years. People just kept thinking that Hurney was the bottom line and didn't understand that there were better candidates waiting to be hired.

Someone in the GB, Gaints, Steelers, Ravens, Patroits FO. Hurney is not the last possible good GM there is.

This guy spoke wisdom.
