True, he's a 2nd year player and can still improve in theory. But can we at least stop calling him a superstar or having a one-track Cam Newton mind where he's the only player people care about? The guy has done more chokejobs than Tori Black.

Choke jobs? Has Cam morphed into Olindo Mare?

Man, what a change! 3 weeks ago, posters on here were making plans to go see the Panthers in the Super Bowl.

Now, the same p0sters are throwing Cam under the bus.

WOW!

So after everything you saw tonight you're worried about Cam celebrating our one and only TD? LOL

Maybe Cam can play DB and defend a slant route... he couldn't have done much worse than Norman.

The funny thing is, he wants to model his franchise after the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I think he meant Cleveland Browns.

Samuel L. Jackson@SamuelLJackson
Was Cam POUTING in that press conf? Gotta be as responsible in loss as he was proud to showcase that insignificant TD by his SUPERMAN move!

Lol.. Samuel L is trippin ...lol

I was watching Sports Center a while ago.

I think I heard Eli singing:

Pocket Full of Krytonite.

You can't get mad at the man for having a little fun and choosing to celebrate his TD. Cam is a brand. When he gets in the endzone fans expect to see his superman because that's part of his brand, regardless of what the score may be. Cam gets paid to entertain. People pay money not only to see the team perform well, but to see Cam supersize his swag when he makes it in the endzone.

Cam gets paid to win football games, not entertain. Are you high?

"Young" Cameron is more concernced with building his brand than building his craft.

I can't fault him for trying to energize the crowd and rally the troops.

In his position you have to keep fighting no matter how bad the situation looks.

TD celebrations are selfish unless they are a burst of emotion like a fist pump or jumping onto a guy. It's especially bad when there are TD celebrations by the leader of the football team late in blowout losses.

There was a time when you were expected to "act like you had been there before".

Doesn't seem like that is the case anymore. Not sure Cam meant it like some of us are taking it.

Seemed a bit awkward to me, but I figured it was because I'm just getting old.

The celebration to me said he was not ready to give up, unlike other people on the field tonight.

This thread is so full of fail...

Between the towel head, the superman thing and the press conference it's clear that Cam is at the maturity level of a 7 year old child. This is not how a grown man acts and he's showing that he might have bigger issues than losing a football game. The mark of maturity is how you act when times are tough (and we are talking about football here). Sports Center just said he sounded like a kid who got his lunch money stolen. Embarrassing.
