I think we need to be able to stop Julio Jones and Roddy White, because honestly, if Ramses Barden did what he did against us last Thursday, either one of those guys are going to shred us. Need to be physical at the line of scrimmage, chuck guys off their routes, chip Tony as he comes off the line.

< Chud enters the room>

"Great idea guys. These guys look to have trouble with the ole ground and pound. Let's run it. But hear me out first, they have to know its coming, am I right? First play of the game we give a wildcat look.....they will hate to see that. Then we motion Cam back in, he hands it off BUT WAIT....it's a flea flicker. Cam then tosses the ball back to Stewart who fakes a HB throw then laterals it back to Cam. Cam then pretends he is going to check down but that too is a fake. While all this is going down Smith will be running a triple move down field for an easy TD. Sportscenter will eat this poo up"......"Wait, what? The OL didn't pass protect for that? Those guys suck".

Face it guys, our defense is not good... sure, they play well at moments but overall we're not a top 15 D. Teams are gonna score on us, not much we can do about it... our Offense has to score points or we're done.

Which is why the D should blitz and gamble.....don't try to stop teams. Try to get turnovers.

First play of the game: Triple reverse statute of liberty HB pass to Smitty. That's power offense, right? I mean, we have two TEs on the field...

Run run screen pass.

Run run pass (one look at primary, tuck the ball, slide)

This is what you will have to see to be able to control this game. We are not good enough on the back side of our D to stop them at all. Norman lined up against White is not going to be pretty.

If we are to not abandon the run, I believe we should actually make running [other than from the option] part of our game plan haha

as already mentioned, the way to kill a defense like that is to run it down their throats

I agree...I cannot tell you how many times I was screaming at the tv Thursday night, begging for some freaking blitzes (especially on third down). Instead we laid back in zone coverage. I understand that you cannot blitz without being burned every now and then...but heck, we showed Thursday night we cannot play zone without getting burned all the time.

1. Get healthy. The Panthers will need Jonathan Stewart back in the lineup. Toe injuries are no joke and could keep him out on Sunday. Lets hope not.

If Stewart is out, chalk this one up as another loss. After all, RR cannot game plan against a team if Stewart is out. ;)

Who did you plan to use as the blitzer?

We don't have a great one on our entire roster.

Thomas Davis, assuming he's healthy, is an excellent blitzer.

Thomas Davis is a great blitzer, and Godfrey is not bad. But outside of those two, you are right. We also do not have great corners or lineman, but still throw someone out there and give it shot.
