Does she watch that crap? One preview commercial of that was enough to lose some of my brain cells...

She is in love with honey boo boo....I have had to listen to her walk around the house all week saying her new favorite catch phrases (in a bad imitation of a kuntry accent):

"Suga Bear" and "Glitzy".......

her family is a travesty but that kid has tons of personality. don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's enviable. but she sure as hell is entertaining. and as with many other entertaining things, it will, as others have mentioned, make you dumber.

TLC was actually a really good channel about 15 years ago.

of course that was also back when the history channel was more than "rednecks do their jobs", "two dudes swindle antiques from hoarders", "aliens did that poo", and who could forget "bald guy pays a gambling addict 1/4 retail value for great grandpa's revolver". so, ancient history.

Wow... I guess maybe for some it's like watching a train wreck... you just can't turn away. But I can't do it... they crap (and pretty much all "reality" TV) irritates the poo out of me.

You have my sympathy SP... the worst thing I can say about my wife at the moment is that she's utterly obsessed with fantasy football, so she wants to watch NFL all the time and even let me pay extra for the Redzone channel... but this is pretty much the first time I've ever been able to turn something like that into a coup for me... usually it's stuff that I can't stand that she gets hooked up in and I have to deal with, so I feel your pain.

nope Jase, it's cheaper to keep her, plus she can be easily distracted...halloween is coming...thus the impending new tablescape representing all things halloween will soon be taking up all of her time.....

I'm lol'ing at this because it's so true... mine just did a 15 minute, non-stop expose' in the car last night about how she loves Halloween, explained her decorations for the house and her classroom and what she wanted to dress up as for school...

what is a tablescape? Is that one of those things that only women know what it is? Like what paisley is exactly?
