I'm not going to comment on Mr. Richardson, I will comment on Mr. Blank however.

Mr. Blank has had only 2 losing seasons since purchasing the team, a 7-9 campaign and the 2007 debacle with dog fighting and a coward coach. Seriously, think about that objectively it's quite an accomplishment considering the only thing the franchise had was an aging dome and Vick.

Before Mr. Blank purchased the Falcons we we're pretty much the laughing stock of the NFL, well us and Cincinnati. Our previous owner made franchise killing decisions such as always having the smallest player pay-roll, scoffing at the idea of having an adequate scouting department, refusing to re-sign our own star players, etc. We, as you know, never had back-to-back winning seasons and only had 5 play-off appearances(I believe)

When Mr. Blank took over he made several quick and impressive moves to gain fan support. He lowered season tickets to $100, he opened training camp to fans and offered free soda and popcorn and renovated the Dome. The culture of being a Falcons fan changed, seemingly overnight. We actually started to believe we had a chance to win.

Mr. Blank purchasing the Falcons is without a doubt the best thing that's ever happened to this franchise.

I agree with everything you said....

That being said, Arthur Blank does look like Vincent Price and Mike Smith looks like the Joker (without any makeup).

The team owner (Arthur Blank, Jerry Jones being the two most noticable) should stay off the sidelines during the game.

Yes, it's their team. Yes, they've certainly paid for the right to be there. But the owner can get in the way of what the players and coaches are trying to do during the game, and may not be aware that their mere presence there can throw off rhythm of a game. We don't need camera shots of the owner being his QB's best pal until the game is over.

I admire that Jerry sits in his highly-visible box and takes in the game from the suite.

Just a reminder that blank signed mike smith and dimitroff only after parcells used them to drive up his asking price in Miami.

If he'd gotten his way originally the falcons would likely be something......much worse.

So no comment from MadHatter about the "real LEADER" of the Panthers and his dreadful losing record as an owner?

No comment on his "immaturity" in 2010 setting his franchise up for failure so he can make a couple more bucks at the negotiatian table?

What about is pie chart that made everybody associated with the Panthers look like a money hungry southern stereotype? Lol. Like something a yankee political satirist thought up.

Its easy to tell the black QB whos been losing 2 years what to do. But the rich businessman whos funded and nurtured losing for almost two decades no commentary?

How do we fix JR?

I think JR is a good owner. He isn't perfect, but he is far from the worst in the league. Bottom line he has done enough for this team to be a winner, but his staff has let him down.
