Whether it be before this years trade deadline, or during the offseason, Williams will probably be traded. The question is what is he worth at this point in his career?
Denver or San Diego seem like no brainers as far as trade partners go.
What could we realistically get for Williams?

No one wants an aging RB with a fat contract. They can just draft a kid who fits their scheme and pay him peanuts. Spend money on important positions.

I don't think he gets traded. We can't currently afford the $9.6 million that would hit our cap this year unless we have freed up some money that hasn't been reported.
The most likely scenario is a post June 1st cut or trade so we can spread the hit over two years. If a trade, DWill will also have to be willing to renegotiate his contract in all likelihood.
