Yes, the announcers are being a little too critical. However, he should have congratulated his team mates for a great play and bailing him out. By doing what he did, it does come across as selfish.

This team is fragile right now. They desperately need leadership on and off the field. I want to see Cam step up and become that guy. But, he has to realize that this team needs him on the sidelines. He is the guy that can rally this team together.

Ever thought the coaches told Cam to cut out the celebrations? If he celebrated with Murphy, everyone would be on him for celebrating after a fumble. It's a losing situation for Cam and it is a non-issue that doesn't deserve to be talked about.

Murphy really is the new Nanee. Especially in how the ball always seems to go his way in critical situations.

Just because Murphy was in the general direction if that pass, I would not really call it going his way. No one was catching that pass.

No one is asking him to celebrate. No one celebrated. You walk up to your teammate and thank him. Not run in the other direction.
