Once we get to the 3rd round, we should trade next season's second round pick to move up and acquire an option quarterback from a Div II school then try to turn him into a wide receiver and/or kick returner.

Bpa my friend. And hopefully that bpa is Allen. Our offense would finally teeter over that edge. CB and DT should be addressed in FA, especially the DT position. That DT learning curve is brutal.

I have an interesting question. I'm not saying Cam sucks or anything like that, in fact, he has the skills to be the best in the league. Yet I don't know if that potential will be realized at this point. We already know his coach sabotaged his second season, and while I love his running ability, I don't want any coach we have thinking about using that ability as a main weapon. I've studied Cam's running ability, and I see that Cam is a pocket QB that can run. Yet not everybody see that. Most people have Cam as a scrambling QB, and if coaches view him as such, Cam will never reach the potential of best QB in the league.

So with all that said my question is, is it realistic for a team to give up their 1st/2nd/and maybe next year's 2nd for Cam? If so, would you pull the trigger? I think I would, since we are basically starting over anyway.

Lets not forget Smitty is most likely going to retire, seeing how extremely slow Lafell was yesterday, he scares the hell out of me as a number 1 replacement for Smitty. Keenan Allen all the way

DT/Star Lotulelei is my #1 choice right now. Would love to add his type of talent to the defense

Carolina trades their #2 overall pick to a team needing a QB and gets the other teams 2013, 2014 and 2015 1st round picks as well as their 2nd rounder in a deal identical to what Washington gave for RGIII.

1st round: Luke Joeckel OT/ Texas A&M
2nd round: TJ McDonald FS/ USC or Kenny Vaccaro FS/ Texas
2nd round: Da'Rick Rogers WR/ Tennessee Tech or Desmond Trufant CB/ Washington

Good thing the Jets, Chiefs, Jags, and Eagles might all be willing to trade up for a qb. At least we'll have options other than reaching for a wr with the first or second pick which would be a horrible move.

I still just dont understand how a majority here says we should draft anyone other than a WR.. Did you guys not see how painfully slow Lafell was Sunday? Had that been any other WR he would have taken that to the house. We NEED a true threat WR badly.

Sadly there's no one worth a top 10 pick at WR in this years draft. Kennan Allen is probably the better of the two between he and Justin Hunter, but neither is even close to top 10 worthy. Others like Robert Woods, but at 6'1" he's hardly the Calvin Johnson type receiver I'd cream my pants for.

God of only we would have drafted Stephen Hill. Everyone always says " its all about the trenches" I disagree. Just like a good CB makes a bad D line look good the same holds true that good WR makes a bad O line look good.

New rule.. If a WR is 6'5 and runs a 4.4 or better like Stephen Hill.. SCREW EVERYTHING ELSE, YOU DRAFT the S.O.B!
