Benefit: Would instantly become the best coach the Panthers have ever had.

Cost: your soul

not worth it.

it's not like we're actually using the thing, are we?

payton is an effective coach. brilliant offensive mind. doesn't care about being a good guy. hated, but hated more because of just how good he is. arrogant, but has the stuff to back it up. saints have been lost without him.

i say it would be worth the risk.

fans would get over their hate after our first back to back winning seasons and championship.

it would be a win/win for us. saints would go back to sucking full time, we'd have a great coach.

can you imagine the hate for this team....both cam (who is not a douche, but manages to be hated and would be hated even more if he won more) and a payton (who is absolutely a douche and hated more because he wins) together?

it could be worse than the hate/respect for hoodie and brady.

i think that if he were actually in the running for the job, the divisiveness in here would be much more than it was when cam was one of the choices for our first round pick.

Initial thought? Hell no.

After I thought about it for a few minutes? Ehhh...might actually be worth it.

Of course it would be worth it.

Doubt he leaves, but I would welcome him with open arms.

It's about time to get an offensive mind in here.

The fact that Steve Smith hates him is irrelevant. Smith could learn to play for him.

That being said, I doubt he leaves the Saints.
