If both parties live up to their platforms set at the conventions this year, Puerto Rico will be the 51st state.

Today marks the first time that marijuana has been legalized since drug laws have been put in place.

Today is also a landmark day for gay marriage.

Interesting day to say the least regardless of who you wanted to win the Oval office.

Puerto Rico has always elected republican Governors, so I think anyone assuming it'll be a blue state is jumping the gun a little. Likely a swing state, IMO.
