Stuck near the middle of a Washington Post story on Romney’s life after the election was this little nugget, “At the Wednesday breakfast, Romney told the donors he believed Hurricane Sandy stunted his momentum in the final week of the campaign, according to multiple donors present.”

Would love to see an actual Romney quote... it looks like he was saying that was part of the reason and not THE reason... and it is actually pretty clear that Sandy helped Obama a lot more than Romney.

Not saying Romney would've won without it... as by the numbers it still looks like he wouldn't have, but it sure didn't help him.

One of the networks had an exit poll which stated 40% of the voters thought the handling of Sandy was important. Bill Clinton quickly called a press conference to say it was not him. Made the last sentence up, really.

Daily Show just did a killer segment showing the Fox News crew blaming the loss on Obama for calling Romney all these various mean names, followed by like every single primary opponent calling Romney those names. The day after episode of the Daily Show is an instant classic.
