They are giving up a mind blowing 321 ypg through the air...

6 of the 9 teams they have faced this year have passed for more than 300 yards including:

414 yards by Carson Palmer
458 yards by Drew Brees
510 yards by Eli Manning

They are #1 in the league in rush yards allowed at 80ypg, but of course, if your pass defense is this bad, why would anyone really try to run ???

Despite the number of pass attempts against them, the Bucs are 26th in the NFL in sacks...

Gotta put up 21 plus points on these clowns. Just Gotta...

I say 21 offensive points and no turnovers or special teams breakdowns pretty much guarantees a Panthers win.

Remind me of our record again when Cam throws for over 300 yards?

I'll take a game plan that looks like the first scoring drive against Denver.

Threads by TonyN: "The team we're playing sucks in this way, if Cam does well its because it was easy, if he struggles I can troll more."

We average exactly 21 points when Cam throws for more than 300 yards.

This game will be decided mostly by the defense.

So you're going to guarantee a win against a team that has scored less than 34 just 3 times this year (averaging almost 40 ppg in the last 5 games since their bye week) by scoring 21 points?

I'm not following your logic.

If pass defense is their weakness, I fully expect Chud to out smart them by giving JStew and DWill combined 30 carries.

Held them to 16 points in week one...

This defense is good enough to do it again...

As much as I respect how much Josh Freeman has turned it around this year...he is no Peyton Manning...

And how many points did Denver's offense score last week ??? 20

Full disclosure here, I'm a Bucs fan and I won't argue hat it's possible for you to win this. Division rivalry and your defense has improved but I really like this matchup for us.

We, just like most teams have improved since week one. But we have improved greatly on offense. We are punishing every team with offense. Use Martin to force safeties up and using Mike Williams and VJax to take advantage of it. Plus the fact that for some reason, the worst cover safety I have ever had the displeasure of seeing on an NFL field in Haruki Nakamura, is somehow still starting. That fact alone gives us a huge edge.

Freeman has thrown 13 TD's to one interception in the last 5 games. We have the highest scoring offense since week 6. We have two wideouts in the top 30 in yards for the season. The fourth leading rusher and an offensive line that hasn't missed a beat after losing our two pro bowl guards.

Defensively, our secondary is a bad joke, or good one depending on how you view things. Mark Barron has tons of talent and a monster in the run game but he is susceptible to making an error and getting beat deep. The only corner that doesn't look clueless on the field is Johnson who has started three games and has three picks (1 for a TD). But nothing tells me that the panthers are capable of punishing us for that.

Newton isn't playing as poorly as some make him out to be but even against a pass defense as bad as ours in Washington, Newton didn't generate that much offense passing wise. And other than Olsen and Smitty, no one is afraid of any other receiver. And Rush defense wise, we have shutdown most teams while the panthers aren't running well this year.

I think Tampa is the definite favorite here because your defense will slow our offense down but we will still get our points. I just don't think your offense is made to beat ours in the area we are weak at.

It's obvious the Bucs sell out to stop the run, which seems to be working for them.

I guess you could say that. It works against teams that don't have elite QBs. We won't be beating anyone with top tier QBs unless we discover a pass rush and/or competent corners

Right and so did the Redskins and Cam hardly broke the 200 yd mark. Its ok, once Cam throws a pick we can all change the channel. 0-14 when Cam throws a pick. Just stunning.
