The fanbase isnt ready to see Cam cussing out teammates on the sidelines Zod. It wont be portrayed as leadership. Unless he marries our owners daughter or something.
I dont necessarily think cussing out team mates is leadership either.
Did you watch the Manning video? Was he cussing out players or getting with players to fix mistakes, motivate, and encourage?

Look at it this way. Most people in leadership roles learn by watching their leaders or mentors and how they conduct themselves. I don't have a doubt in my mind that if Chud or Rivera or even Shula were coaching up Cam on how to talk to his line, or how to pull his receivers together for an impromptu session on the sidelines, he would do it. He's not doing it now because no one is showing him the way. He has to be coached up on these parts of the game just as much as on how to throw the ball.
Get this kid some good coaching and I think we'll all be surprised at his development.

Peyton cussing out his lineman has been on Sound FX numerous times. This is when he was with the Colts. Peyton calling out teammates (Vanderjagt, his line) is not a new thing. Cameron is not privileged like a "good old boy" Peyton to have his flaws minimized. If he calls out a teammate, specifically guys like Olsen or his linemen, they will be the victim.
Cam was trying to show leadership and instill a winning only mentallity, but I guess that was a bad thing. After the outlash he kind of fell back on that.

Yeah, Peyton would throw his OL under the bus and stuff early in his career unlike Cam but how Peyton was early on is completely irrelevant. And yeah, Peyton had also been caught flat out cussin his teammates out and acting like a little brat as well in the past but that again is irrelevant. No excuse for Cam not being able to act like Peyton is today.....he doesn't need the years and years it took Peyton to get there. He is freaking Superman.

What's Peyton's regular season/playoff record again?
"look at what a great leader peyton is! cam should act just like him!"
"actually, here are videos of him behaving in a way that would get our quarterback crucified by fans and the media"
"oh yeah well peyton has won a bunch of games so he's allowed to!"
also manning has a losing record as a starter in the playoffs

hopefully the new GM seeks to rectify this problem, starting with a coaching staff that is in cam's ear from the word go.

Cam puts a towel on his head and sits after a great drive to take the lead.KT do you think Cam hanging his head by himself on the bench is an effective way to improve?
Part of it is resting....mentally and physically. Lets not forget he has been our best rusher since he arrived. Taking hits and being the offense takes recovery time after his unit is off the field

he started out 0-3 in the playoffs and has 7 one-and-dones up to this point. he infamously threw his offensive line under the bus after the colts' 2005 divisional playoff game against pittsburgh (it was the game where jerome bettis fumbled at the goal line and roethlisberger made that touchdown saving shoelace tackle for reference). he was notorious for slouching and sulking when he was getting beat up.
at this point in his career, cam has more in common with peyton than just the rookie passing yardage record.
