^^this.

i wouldn't put much more thought into it...unless you like exercises in futility.

Exercises in futility is the Huddle's favorite pasttime.

i was thinking as i wrote that, just being a panthers fan is an exercise in futility. we are, you might say, experts in that field.

Zero.

Ernie Accorsi is not going to recommend Brandon Beane over Marc Ross, Dave Gettleman or Kevin Abrams.

Its sad that fans create hypothetical situations and then blame the owner for them.

It's hilarious that all you Internet forum posters are making fun of him, i.e. his name, his shot to get the GM job, etc., when you all would kill to be in a postition similar to his. He's a local guy who has made his way through the ranks of our favorite team. Regardless of whether he gets the job or not, he has done what so many of you dream of doing ... being directly involved with the football operations of the Carolina Panthers.

what's worse is you say that the owner isn't dumb enough to do something like that then all of a sudden you are told you're sucking on JRs nuts or a relative or some poo like that.

The only thing hilarious is the job he's done assembling this roster the past few seasons. His resume going forward is not a strong one.

Where do you come up with this stuff? He worked under Hurney on financial issues, he had nothing to do with assembling anything.

Not only do you not know what he did, but you're wrong in your implication that we don't have talent.
