Cam Newtons Strengths ?

68 posts in this topic

I think you guys have forgotten that Cam was a project QB. That's why many of us didn't want to draft him with the #1 pick. But now that he's here, he's our guy. And we found out that he's pretty darn good. Does he have flaws - yes, of course. That's why he was a project QB. But he has ALL the tools to be successful - including intelligence and work ethic. He'll be an elite QB in a year or two. I think he really grew up a lot in the 2nd half of that TB game.

Clearly you should study that yourself.

You're questioning his intelligence like he's sub human or something. Perhaps you should question your own.

I detect someone with a chip on their shoulder or some sort of inferiority complex manifesting itself.

I would have to say his number one strength is his ( by all accounts anyway) strong work ethic. I dont see superior arm strength as being all that important to be a winning NFL qb.

Lmao. Says the guy who created this gem of a thread about a strangers attributes.

Carry on, how rude of me to interrupt.

Denver has a man as their quarterback, we have a petulant child.

What were you saying about his strengths again?

Strengths: Work ethic, confidence, athleticsm, mobiltiy, and arm-strength.

Fixed it for you. Yah that's about it. Basically none of the things that primarily characterizes the QB position but would make for a stud javeline thrower...

No accuracy needed. No defenses to read. No safeties or cornerbacks to intercept you. Quick release optional. And there's no clock to worry about or 4th quarters.

Quit beating around the bush and just come out with it already.

You don't want Cam Newton as your quarterback, we get it. Why all the theatrics.
