For the Sake of the Franchise

I hate threads like.this.

Fans convincing themselves that their team continuing to lose, helps a team more than.it damages it.

There is no point debating it, cause they are to young to understand.

You are assuming

1. Somebody would want to trade up which isn't guaranteed.

2. All the draft picks would pan out which isn't guaranteed.

3. Eagles win another game, Jags at least one more game maybe two, and the chiefs win another one along with beating us, which is far from guaranteed.

Those things don't happen, and chances are they won't, and the team would tank for no reason.

I think someone wanting to trade up is a good assumption to make. Arizona for example is just pitiful. They would trade up to pick me to be their QB if that were possible. Secondly, yeah, maybe not all the draft picks would pan out. Yet that is true with any draft. However for the most part, picks within the first two round do pan out. Imagine having four picks within those rounds, and they all pan out. I'll take that chance. I'm not too worried about whether the other teams can win games or not, I like the chances there inspite of the teams in question. All they have to do is win one or two games, and I like the chances to win 2 out of 5.

Lastly, I don't want the team to tank. I want them to lose. I'm happy to see our young guys play well. I was estatic to see Cam look guys off and throw strikes for touchdowns. I just want to lose from here on out.

Those teams aren't winning more games than us, it simply isn't happening. Losing would be terrible and it is retarded to want the team you claim to support to lose.

Noo but I watched a team trade up for RGIII last year. That means I think the same thing will happen this year.

Assuming a trade will happen because one happened last year makes no sense.

Draft position doesn't really matter to me. What matter is if Rivera will comeback which I hope not.

Colts fans wanted to lose so they could draft Luck. Look where that got them. I consider myself in that same boat, but for different purposes. One, to assure Rivera is gone. Two, a much needed boost in draft picks. I hear people talk about Jadeveon Clowney. This plan I'm talking on right here, puts us in a legitimate spot to draft him, even if we win the superbowl next year. If not him, perhaps a guy like Marquis Lee. This idea is spotless, and all it costs us is to see this team lose five games. Five games is not much, compared to a HOF roster, guaranteed to have us in superbowl talks year in and year out.

If Rivera stays, Cam could be done in Carolina.

talk about a culture where losing is accepted, one where it is encouraged would be disastrous! You can't create a championship team by losing.

Lose out? No. But don't worry, I highly doubt we finish better than 5-11.

Lol how is it spotless when we aren't guaranteed the first pick? If we lose out but still pick behind the Eagles, Chiefs, and Jags are you gonna be happy?

    • You look great bro. Congrats! You've turned into the cross fit person where the first rule is to talk about cross fit but I get it. You want others to realize what you experienced. Either way, it's not a bad thing and I'm happy for you. Well done!

    • After careful consideration, I think I might actually be interested in a diet similar to yours. The real reason I haven't tried yet is due to my stubborness. I love eating meat and greasy fried food. It tastes good, but makes me feel like poo afterwards. Always an experience.  Lately, that "poo" feeling has lingered more than I feel it should. I work out and do limit my fried foods, but that doesn't seem to be helping my quality of life. I tried to limit how much meat I eat, but even that doesn't help.  I know the facts. Plant based foods will prolong your quality of life and even lifespan. Research proves that.   For one, you can look at Loma Linda and see how their average lifespan is greater than that of most of the world due to their diet. You can defend meat and fried food all you want, but facts are they're the main culprit for health issues and the only reason its defended is taste. I would appreciate a DM sometime about how you diet, what you eat, and what you recommend I do. Any recipes, tips, and whatever you got would be greatly appreciated. Congratulations on your journey so far Jeremy. I think you've also inspired me to finally do something I should've done years ago. Thank you.
