Same old hate, but no concrete reasons why not.

In all honesty, I came real close about 2 weeks ago to making a "I've Seen Enough" thread, after seeing him get caught on the wide open catch a couple weeks back the week before and then seeing him moving in slow motion on kick returns the week after... Watching him 2 weeks ago on KR reminded me of watching a show on Nat Geo where a Gazelle is chased down by a pack of Hyenas - Cheetahs would be more fitting, but to my knowledge they don't generally hunt in packs, lol.

Anyway, he just seemed to take such long, graceful, yet slow strides while running back kickoffs.

Then, Monday night, I was actually really impressed. He looked like a totally different player running it back. Decisive, quick, somewhat explosive once he saw daylight... I don't know what's up with him.

Ok, I know most of you will hate on this - but we have 2 backs left with Stewart hurt. What if we lined AE up in the back field and worked him into some plays in that way? He obviously isnt going to be any sort of power runner, but supposedly thats Tolberts forte. Im just thinking some sort of new look out of the backfield might pick us up some positive yardage and take the heat off of Cam - and no Im l not talking about Chud-trickery plays or wild cat.

No.

Armanti lacks burst. Even RR said it, in terms of KO he said Armanti has long speed. Meaning it takes him a long time to hit his top gear. That was after Philly....

I would look for Joe Adams finally getting that reverse they faked a couple times.

Also, they lined up LaFell in the backfield a couple times early this year yet never used whatever plays he has designed for that.

Those 2 make more sense. LaFell actually is a pretty solid runner with a little space

Make up your mind. Either Armanti played high school level football against inferior competition at a third rate college football program that nobody follows or he is such a shining mega star hero athlete that he was drafted just to boost attendance and tv ratings. You can't have it both ways.

The huddle intelligentsia strikes again.

Are you trying to have Armanti Edwards killed?

I think every bone in his body would shatter after the first normal tackle he takes.

our own resident fans of tradition-rich powerhouse super programs like nc state and ecu couldn't have said it better

Yet he got caught from behind on his catch, despite no one within 15 yards of him.

Armanti has no speed, burst or long or otherwise.

even at the FCS level he wasn't really a high level burner. more of a shifty, twitchy guy with good escapability. of course that hasn't translated to the NFL either.
