who is the best man for the GM position?

I think it would be a mistake but what the fug do I know?

I'm not a fan of Rivera but if our new GM's very first decision (and one of his biggest) is to retain Rivera, then I'll trust that he's done his homework and really believes we can win with him.

The new GM gets about 3 - 4 years to work cleaning up after Hurney and getting his system and people in place before I start judging him.


the new GM will have one hell of a job to do.

and here's to hoping he pulls it off in record time.
