It's kind of sad

What's sad is that we've lost 12 coin tosses in a row. That's just statistically bullshit.

kind of emblematic of the whole season, though.

just a lot of really bad luck at the hands of the officials.

Sad? I think it's kind of awesome that our rookie CB and LB are getting so many tackles. Better than them not getting tackles, right? Once we get Gamble back and draft a tall beastly FS, our D is going to be stout.

I really think the 2012 draft is going to go down as Marty Hurney's swan song.

How has Norman looked in coverage though? Has he been improving or no? Just seems he plays so much better in press man than that soft sh*t, its a legit question so if anyone can answer id appreciate it

Part of it is the soft coverage he's being forced to play, but part of it is also how good he's been in run support. He's often crashing down and making a tackle on a RB or a WR on a screen pass for little to no gain. Excellent tackling and recognition abilities.

^^^yep. when he's supposed to be in more soft coverage then of course he's going to have people getting the ball in front of him and he's going to have more tackles. when he's playing tight coverage he's much better and much more effective. either way...he's as good or better than any other rookie CB this year.

in the run D (for a corner, anyway), he's a beast. he's fast, got a good nose for the action, and not afraid to take anyone on.
