Man that is so sad. Delay the game and have a dual Monday night game IF they feel like playing it. Honestly this is bigger than our game with them

here's a photograph of the victim, and the 2-month-old that'll be left motherless thanks to the actions of this coward

Yes, they belong in a story on the local news like any story on our local news does with the same things. Is it deserving of national attention? Not really. Like I said, happens every single day. Its sad for them.

Whether you think it's deserving or not, it's going to get national attention because a professional football player was involved.

Rae Carruth was a national story too.

Rumor is that he found out the baby wasn't his.

Good chance that's probably just somebody's speculation.

Even if true she's still the victim. I'm sure he NEVER cheated on her or anyone else.

Sorry man, easy to play the holier than thou card here but these guys are professionals. This isn't 9/11, but rather some maniac who lost it.... I don't think I'm insensitive because they shouldn't make a spectacle out of the tragedy. I don't see how taking a day or two off is really going to make a huge difference here... in four or five months Romeo Crennel and company are still going to be shaken by this. It's a bad situation obviously but it needs played.

I think you're holding these people to a higher standard than you would yourself. If your co-worker and friend blew his brains out in front of you while talking to you and thanking you and your boss said "wow that was crazy..alright back to work and see you guys at 6am sharp tomorrow" you wouldn't think the same way. People need therapy for stuff like that. They need to be with their families.

i think the cheifs slowly circle the toilet bowl after this. coaches are going to be frazzeled, guys aren't really going to be as focused as they might if this was just a sudden death of a teammate ala sean taylor or chris henry. they're going to be constantly assaulted from the backs of their minds (as anyone in the situation would be) by the fact that the guy who they emotionally feel pulled to rally around actually murdered the mother of a baby and a toddler in front of her mother.

i don't think that's something you just tune out.

You're joking, right? The Sean Taylor murder was much worse than this.

His teammates still tear up now talking about him.

amazing how many people are willing to qualify his actions by attributing some sort of victimhood to the murderer
