You are hired as the interim GM.

JR comes to you and says "Cut 6 current starters tomorrow".

Assume we can replace those starters with average starters in this league, who do you cut? What positions would be the biggest upgrade to just average?

I like James Anderson and don't mind him staying, but for purposes of this exercise he would go. Jason Phillips played fairly well in relief against KC, and I can't remember the last time James made a play. Also, with Kuechly at the Mike, James has become an.expensive 2-down LB. For his contract, I would look for either bigger production or go cheaper.

I mean i guess if you include the 3rd receiver but i would say the 5 down lineman, olsen, smitty, lafell, cam, stew, and tolbert would be my view as the "starters"
