He was also working on his throws on the sidelines a lot during downtime.
He's growing as a leader, big time.

It was really fun watching him while he was on the field and when he was talking to the team/coaches on the sidelines.

not to sound like an a-hole but out of all the things that happened today... who gives a sh*t?
this is pretty standard protocol for quarterbacks.
Not to sound like an ass hole, but are you new to being a Panther fan? jk
Dude can't blow his nose on the bench without critical analysis of why he isn't a leader.
It's important for Cam's career and the team that he become a vocal leader. Also, the top coaching candidates looking at us want to see a QB they can win with and call their general.
Good teams are tight and fight for each other.

This stuff should be expected of you without someone like Smitty having to call you out on it. It's one of those things that is just so common sensical where people are only going to bring it up if you're doing it wrong.
It happens pretty regularly.

During the 2 minute break at the end, Cam went up to the defense on the field while the Falcons were driving and gave them all words of encouragement, tapping them on the shoulders and motivating them.
He was also working on his throws on the sidelines a lot during downtime.
He's growing as a leader, big time.
Thats what you want to see
