As bad as this season felt, you do realize that we are a Cam Newton fumble against Atlanta, a Cam Newton bounced pass of less than 10 yards in the end zone against Seattle and a Steve Smith trip and pick six against Chicago from being a 10-6 team, don't you?

While he hasn't been the most creative or demonstrative coach, none of those can be hung on Rivera... And through it all he never lost his team or his players... I think he deserves one more shot...

No David Gettis or Joe Adams than, Dog house welcome back.

Wow....so we were Davis Gettis and Joe Adams away from success this past season? This "Dog House" b.s. is so overblown....it's always funny when folks think they have a better idea of who plays and who sits....I really think Gettis wasn't back far enough to take the field, and once he was, they decided to hold on to him instead of him coming in cold.

I probably would not have made this decision, but it certainly is not the end of the world either.

Rivera deserves another season. I'm tired of all the doom and gloom around here. It's time to stand up and support this team.

Been doing that since 1995...

You guys foolish pride will make you not admit it that Rivera is not the man for this job nor any other job in the NFL.

Wake me up when we hire a GM. That will determine our direction.

Do GM's coach? Or hasn't Rivera's 6-10 followed up by a 7-9 determined enough direction for you?

...its the right move. I trust Riviera's football knowledge...he knows who can play....
