I figuratively went to Panther Preschool, Panther Elementary School, Panther Middle School, Panther High School and Panther University.

My grades were average at best but I am Panther born and Panther bred, and when I die, I'll be a Panther dead.

You guys can shitake all over this team and the FO all you want. I am a proud, loyal fan and called for Rivera's head, called for DLo to be cut...I can complain with the best of you. But a decision has been made and I for one will support it until circumstances dictate otherwise. If the players of this team are behind Rivera, I am behind Rivera.

I would hope that the "Huddle Family" I enjoyed so much last off-season can get past this. This site went from being more fun than free porn to a constant pissing contest.

Let's get back to what we do best...hating on Alejandro, Kilgo and Pickles.

And tittays.

I'm with this dude, I dont agree with sticking with Rivera, but I cant' change it. So It's JR's decision and i'll support it until he starts 1-2 -3 -4 -5 again, and then i'll start to call for his head. However for now I will support the decision, even though I dont agree with it. I will support the FO decision and root for my Panthers, I hope everyone else that is a true Panthers fan knows that they pretty much have to do the same.

But honestly his main issue this year weren't the close games as much as it was taking too long to tell chud to switch out of the silly read option base offense more than anything else. And then hearing about The lack of chemistry on the offensive staff earlier today also made me think it was really chud who brought this team down more than Rivera, although Rivera still should have acted quicker. I guess we'll just have to see what happens next season to make final judgements, but all in all... I agree the close games argument shouldn't be used as much as it is regarding Rivera's failures in his first two seasons as a HC.

That's been my main problem with Rivera as well. The game management stuff doesn't bother me as much as others. My main b!tch is Ron waited too long to knock some sense into Chud. I wanted Rivera gone because he has responsibility for his staff and he wasn't exercising it, but it was Chud's playcalling in the first 7 or 8 games that had us out of the playoffs before we ever got going.

I really, really hope we shake up the offensive coaching staff this offseason.

Different reason, Hurney was writing the checks; he wasn't a goo leader.

There will be no excuses for this team or Rivera next year, none, zero, nada, zip.

I really don't care whether the players 'like' a Coach or not.

I care that they understand, execute the system and get wins, not moral victories.

What is more concerning is the Panthers played better without their so called starters (Beason, Gamble, Kalil). If those people were put into the lineup while not healthy and able to perform while better players were on the bench, that's on Rivera. If those players failed to be motivated to play, that's on Rivera for either not motivating or replacing them. If they had lost a step, then they should have been set down.

The in game adjustments were absolutely terrible until the competition got easier.

..and that, is my main issue. I do not believe Rivera has the football knowledge in game or out to beat the likes of Belinchek or Coughlin or the rest. I am also not sure that he has the abilty to lead the team back from a 17-0 or 21-0 deficit.

We will see I guess; but, I will say that I am sick and tired of the Panthers being every good team's highlight reel in the National media.

Do I hope he is successful, of course I do, I put money and time and emotion in this team. My sense tells though the probabiltiy of his success is medium at best.
