yeah remember apollo 18, that documentary that came out last year

What's it about? Any good?

what?

US Moon landings:

edit: damn it, table didn't show up.

the US has had 6 moon landings, Apollos 11, 12, 14, 15. 16. 17. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing

Last one was 1972. Why?

Edit: just googled Apollo 18. It's not a doc but a sci fi based on lost footage. Wonder if its on Netflix.

it's not actually based on lost footage, it's just a scifi/horror movie. it is fun to watch tho if you like cheap space-based thrills.

last one was in 1972 because it is expensive to do manned missions to the moon

Yeah, wasn't trying to say that. It's fiction.

ah okay :) in that case, if you like scifi/horror and you can get it via netflix, go for it. I enjoyed it in the theater.

look into Alternative Three and the Russian/US moon base partnership. not saying its real, but just read up on it.

basically the old movie Capricorn One breaks this all down.

i saw apollo 18 in theaters. i guess the concept of a movie set in what is pretty much the most remote location humans are currently capable of reaching would lend itself to a fantastically creepy atmosphere.

i was disappointed.
