I wonder what the death rate is between people being cut by knives and shot by guns.

Remember that mass stabbing in China on the same day as Sandy Hook? 0 deaths.

I probably phrased that poorly; what I want to know is the % of people who get cut by knives who die vs. people who get shot by guns and die.

I know I've nicked my fingers probably a dozen times while cooking. I am interested in how that compares to someone who has shot themselves a dozen times.

Not the same, IMO. Knives are much more dangerous to the person holding it vs the person holding a gun.
