there are a number of post-literate societies globally that deserve a voice. i think it's a dangerous precedent to deny them that right (and denying someone a vote based on ultimately arbitrary educational parameters in general scares me, even though i fully understand [and quite often lean towards] the sentiment that idiots should not be allowed to vote.)
My point is, how can you know who you are voting for if you can't read the name on the ballot.
