we need pretty immediate upgrades at RT and RG along with a pretty sizeable list of other positions. if we release gross that only adds to the list. we can't afford to do that. not if we have any hopes of winning and keeping cam safe.
my point exactly. gross is going to restructure and so is beason

A Beason restructure is very risky....for Carolina. Cutting him looks to be the safer move.
Gross is about the only restructure out of the big names talked about that makes sense

Gross and Kalil are the only ones proven that can play at a starting caliber.
That is risky business with a franchise QB

Why would a beason restructure be risky. We wont save much by just cutting. Restructuring him to an incentive deal this season and cut/trade him next year is better
