He said yesterday that Clowney should purposely flunk his classes so he would be inelligiable to play next year instead of sitting out and looking like a quitter.

Is he serious?! Where did you read/hear that?? What a joke lol

I don't think Clowney should quit or sue or whatever, but something should be done about the rules with the NCAA. Nerlens Noel agrees with me.

I think Florio's contract with NBC Sports has a stipulation that he must say at least one dumbass thing per month.

Granted, it could be worse. WFNZ requires it of QCB on a daily basis.

Florio posits that teams should be allowed to trade...cap space

Great idea or silly notion?

I was in a fantasy auction league where you could trade salary space.

If it worked there it can work in the NFL!

I would think that since a cap is the way to achieve parity, allowing teams to essentially buy or trade for more cap space would undercut teams who either don't want to spend the money or feel they can't spend it due to financial issues.

Agreed.

Only exception I would see to this would be in a situation that a player is traded the team he is traded to can agree to take the cap hit on the prorated bonus money.

He had an entire article written about it. About how Clowney should sit out and how instead of looking like a quitter he should flunk classes so he is ineligible. It was on PFT yesterday.
