Yes. The idea of getting Floyd in the 1st and maybe someone like TJ Barnes in the 6th sounds incredible to me. That way, we'd have a penetrating DT in Floyd and a run-stuffer in Barnes.

He's the only dt I want to take with the 1st pick besides star

Agree completely. I'm not even sure he lasts till 14 tbh. Have a feeling he's going to crush the combine and become a top ten lock....

north philly is really, really rough. It literally looked like a warzone when i was there. The dude sounds like hes got a good head on his shoulders. Damn this DT class is really good.

Great Interview. I would put money on this guy as our first round pick. He would bust his ass everyday to be the best he can be.

On the bright side, having him move into the top ten will hopefully push someone down like Warmack.

Getting this guy might be good or a Warmack (1st) J Williams (2nd) could also work

I don't think this is the guy for us. After watching tape on him, Floyd just doesn't make enough plays for him to be worthy of our #1 pick. Yes, he will make a great play every now and then but the consistency just isnt there compared to other comparable dt's in this years draft. I would rather have Jonathon Hankins or Sylvester Williams if we did draft a dt in the 1st, hopefully we don't. This team has so much more needs. We don't have the luxury of waiting on a dt to develop, or if he does at all when we have other needs at OL WR and DB. Just from past drafts, DT has a high bust rate and i think Floyd could be that

    • Do you realize on Day 1 of the new NBA season - we will be over the cap by $12 mil!!!!!!!!

Our disgusting roster puts us over by 11.7 mil to be exact, but that is EVEN WITH the Cap going up from last year.. Naw man, naw.. Cho has got to go.. he has to.. You have a bit of wiggle room, maybe, in that we have a team option on Sessions - so we can save 6 mil by not picking that up - but then we need a backup PG as our #1b priority (#1a = wing scorer).. and anybody knows a backup PG worth a damn is easily gunna cost us more than 6 mil for sure.. Naw man.. he fugged the team.. maybe he was just doing what Jordan told him to do - but that doesn't make it any better:
      - if he made the move because he is a shitty GM and talent evaluator = Fire his ass, you aren't fit to run a NBA franchise
      - if he made the move because Jordan was pressuring him and he caved = Fire his ass, you aren't fit to run a NBA franchise
    • He was still standing in a field in his underwear and worried somebody enough to call the police. Do you really want this guy? He was obviously cut for a reason. Teams don't draft players in the 1st round and not give them every chance to succeed. Are you really a PHD?
    • What makes you so sure Pryer is better competition than Marlowe and Blechen? Those are developing players that already know the defense.
