Two things I can count on every year...
1) feeling overcautious going into the draft (I
never like "boom or bust" picks)
2) a bad case of buyer's remorse coming out of it (even if we picked somebody I like)
I think a lot of draftniks have four or five guys they'd absolutely love to get by the time draft day rolls around. What inevitably happens is one of two things.
Either we get one guy you love and then at least one - generally more - of the others go to teams that make you yell "nooooo, not
them"

That, or we get someone else you may or may not even have thought of, and then you watch
all the guys you wanted go to other teams; almost guaranteed that at least one will go to a team you
hate
