Smart move by congress.

The other three aspects of the bill (aid to schools....better background checks...and procecuting of gun trafficing) are no brainers. With the lack of support of the assault ban, they did not want to run the risk of getting the entire package shot down.

Agreed. I'm all for the other 3 aspects of the bill as well.

Also Feinstein can eat a dick.

This is good for now, but they will be twice as agressive with the next crisis. Little by little. nudge by nudge, until you get what they want.

I say AR, AK etc prices will still be pretty steep for quite a while. I just hope the ammo shelves at Dicks, and WalMart return to full capacity again. Getting tired of seeing nothing but 12 gauge target and turkey load boxes there.

Uh, no. This is not over by a long shot.

Its only a matter of time, the gun grabbers will not stop until the 2nd is buried. Death by a thousand cuts is what is happening now. Another "event" and they will pull the sledgehammer back out. They will get their way at some point, that I am sure of..

Did anyone really believe politicians would actually accomplish something? Come on people.
