There would have to be less regular season games for this to work. But I guess I wouldn't be against this
you couldn't have that many teams in it. It would have to only be like the top 12 teams in the country have a playoff and every other team plays regular bowl games like usual. I wouldn't have anymore than 20 teams in a playoff system. You just can't do that with football
A couple of months ago my friend and I came up with a something based on the UEFA Champions and Europa Leagues. You would have twenty-four teams that had a shot at the title. The four losing the play-in games would then join sixteen secondary teams in a NIT type bracket. It would obviously never happen but it was fun to construct.
