Understandable. Doesn't really make them more intimidating, though.

True. But "Saints" never struck fear in the hearts of opposing teams either. LOL

you've got to understand public perception instead of having to explain something.

when have pelicans been considered majestic or heroic? not any time that i can remember and i'm in my 40s.

when have they been consdered dangerous to anything but fish and themselves? none that i can remember either.

how are they usually cast? cartoonish. clumsy. comedic. that's pretty much the way that team is going to be viewed.

with the exception of a handful of years in their 40+ year existence they've been a joke and not taken seriously.

i have a feeling they are heading back that direction.

or maybe another way to say it was, "Benson was urged to stepped down" after being part of the most embarrassing fiasco any owner could be a part of.

Have to look all the other owners in the eye and say "Ehhhhhh guys, sorry about that whole trying to destroy the careers of your multi million dollar investments. We didnt mean nuttin by it, you know that right?"

Age is not a factor for men whos hubris is bigger than Everest, they will cling to every bit of power they have until it is removed from them.

Okay kids, here's the scoop: The Brown Pelican is the state bird of Louisiana. In fact the Pelican is on their state flag.

Not sure why, but all this does is make me hate the Saints even more.

Yeah the Pelican is not exactly natures top predator or anything. It basically boils down to a bird that has tremendous deep throating skills.

not as bad as gibbons that accidentally grab their own arms instead of vines while swing through treetops and fall to their deaths. what morons

Ha! If had to venture a guess, that would be a direct lineage of one Martin Hurney.

I need to get my eyes checked. I looked at the title of this post three times and each time I thought it said sh*tting priorities.

Makes more sense your way.
