if you're contemplating committing seppuku over our last two picks go ahead and do it because you're probably a terrible poster, but think about this:

Another well though through post..... NOT! Once again people here turn thee backs on our layers fast. Beason is not a shell of his former self. And lazy he has never been. Dwill just lie Stewart was underutilized for the past 2 seasons under Chuds pass happy offense. Got to love fans that k ow nothing about the game or the players

anyone who watched beason's first couple of years and compares them to his last two years - one on IR and the next gimping around the field ineffectively before again going on IR - would never argue that beason isn't a shell of his former self. he clearly is.

again this comes down to money, not effort or desire. beason would be the greatest feel-good story in the world if he came back and had a pro-bowl season, but be that as it may, shelling out 10m a year for an OLB when we already have great depth at the position would be ludicrous (and remarkably hurney-like.)

it's time to move on.

POint taken, however, if anyone hear knew anything about his condition, they would also understand that he rushed himself back to the field well be fore he should have been there. This why he was gimping around. Recovering from a torn Achilles tendon is just as hard to rehab as a ACL. No way he should have been back when he was.

AJ Klein and Kenjon Barner are both incredibly talented players at their respective positions who fell much farther in the draft than they were projected. But even that is secondary: both positions - linebacker and running back - are slots that we have massive amounts of cap space tied into. besides providing insurance for injuries at those positions, it also makes the following players expendable:

Jon Beason - cap hit $9,500,000
Deangelo Williams - cap hit $8,200,000

I recognize that cutting those guys off the bat wouldn't mean getting every dime of that space back, but that's $17.7 million in cap space negated by guys who can do their job for years on low-round rookie contracts.

17.7 million/year sounds like a nice salary for cam newton.

for the rest of you, here's a guide on hara-kari. don't forget your kaishaku, they come in handy.

wud da *** u say?

First of all anyone taken after the 4th round is not usually penciled in as a starter at least for a year or two. Secondly they were brought in for depth not to replace a starter. Thirdly, anyone who is upset about who we pick in our last few picks when most times they are gone in a year or two needs a therapist or an anger management class.

I'm sorry but I just was reading the part about the UDFA being better than a proven pro LaFell at every step of the way....hahahahahahaha I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Thanks for that.

When Darick is cut in preseason, I'll be sure to bump this thread to remind you how full of poo you are ;)
