This draft was a idictiment on Chud and his Playcalling.

Cam led us in rushing yards last year. That is the definition of over doing it. We can still be a very good team with an actual RB leading the team in rushing. Hellz, 2 RBs can out rush Cam and we can still be very good. ................We definitely know what you don't like. Is there anything you do like?

Look at Washington, The Seahawks and the 49ers. Their Rb's lead the team in rushing and they all made the playoffs. So yes you can have a running Qb but still a Dominate RB.

Obviously the FO and the coaching staff. Thought our offensive problems had more to do with the scheme then the players. While most saw the parade of WR and thought that Cam needs more weapons. Well that's just not the teams opinion. Gettlemen said he felt like some young players needed to step up and if you look at the roster the most young guys are at the WR position.

Only one offensive skill position player drafted a scat back. So IMO this draft was not about a lacking of offensive weapons. But a lacking in the use of the weapons already on the roster.

To me this has some validity. There were offensive options available and we passed on all of them, but one. And that was a, oh wait...we still have a 6th. Anybody got something? You, in the back, what you got. Well... I have this guy from Oregon. Kinda pick.........Scat backs that can be productive are a whole lot of fun to watch.

Yes sir reedy indeedy. There are plenty of running plays for the RBs while still running the ball. If you have a Franchise QB. You absolutely need the threat of a pass to keep teams honest. We have the best of both worlds. A Franchise QB with the ability to run very well. Run properly, this Offense should shine. Even with our WR Corp. Sarcasm again on that last one.

orrrrr. it could be that no sense in loading up on offense since a new regime usually makes its biggest moves on O than on D.

the draft was a smart approach that also hedged on what could happen next year.

But, Gettlemen started his regime by going Defense. Oh... you are implying Rivera will be gone next year. Humor... snicker snicker.

I can get behind this. We run that short yardage play very well. It is damm near impossible to stop. I am however, not a fan of him running 7 or more designed runs a game. IMO, that is just too much exposure to risk. Let the RBs run the ball. That is what they are paid a poo ton of money to do. And I DO NOT believe it limits Cam's effectiveness to allow the RBs to run the ball.

I hear your concern but Cam has more chance of getting hurt when he is in drop back situation than when he is running it ...... last season when he was hurt or limping around was when he got sacked trying to trow the ball.......... Newton's Running ability can't be discarded thats what makes him the QB he is ...if we wanted a drop back passer we should have just drafted another QB .....also Newton knows when to get down and when to take the hit for yards................In his rookie season where he had 500 rushing yds our RB where still productive ......I just blame last year on O-line injury and play calling for our RB low production..... This year everything is going to come together where we finally have good Offense and Defense...... I think Newton will have around 700 yds but one of RB is going our 1000 yds. The running game is going to be key to the offense and i think where going to utilize everybody this year.

You guys are still reasoning under the assumption that Gettleman drafts for need. Stop it. There's a simple explanation as to why why the Panthers made the moves they did -- the players were the BPA's. You guys are reading into things that just aren't there.

1. That is a sick fuging sig. What the fug is that? Is that Steve/Chupacabra mutation something you've made?? God I was eating when I saw that poo. That poo stop that activity for me.

2. They've brought in some secondary guys and I think that young guys stepping up line also includes the CB's. Drayton Florence is starting at 1 position. Captain at nickle and a competition at every other spot. I also think they love DJ Campbell at SS and Godfrey at FS. But Mitchell will challenge at SS.

I wish I could photochop that well. It's from Jay-Z/Kanye's Watch the Throne tour.

Sorry....but those who want their franchise QB to lead their team in carries and rushing yards are fuging morons.

It is as simple as that.

I think you're committing a logical flaw here. The fact that Carolina didn't take a receiver does not mean that the front office feels satisfied with the skill players on the roster. Didn't Gettleman say that once the eleventh pick was made, they knew they weren't trading down, because they knew that one of Star, Xavier Rhodes, or Tyler Eifert would be there? New flash: Eifert is a receiving weapon. Kenjon Barner is a receiving weapon as well, and Gettleman signed Hixon, too. They interviewed and were prepared to pick skill players, and have sought them out in free agency. That doesn't really line up with your satisfaction with the guys on the roster.

Sometimes people over think things to much. It could just mean that our staff is not happy with our defensive and offensive line play, or that they think the best players available were those positions, or some combination thereof. It might not be an indictment of anyone other than last years array of dt's.

this.
