How many Panthers will make the NFLN 2013 top 100

Recommended Posts

Cam was 40th last year, Stafford was 41st. This year Stafford fell to like 76 and apparently had the biggest drop of any QB on the list, so unless they meant the biggest drop of QBs to make the list then he should be on there. There are still 10 QBs to be revealed.

Peyton, Eli, Brees, Brady, Rogers, Flacco, Ryan, Luck, RG3... and one more. Romo? Schaub? Cutler? Rivers? Dalton? Romo barely made it last year and Rivers fell off a cliff. So I kinda like his chances.

They just released 51-60 which had Jared Allen, JPP and Pep, so I think it's safe to say neither CJ or Hardy make the list.

Not surprised CJ or Hardy didn't make the list, but I'll be shocked if Cam doesn't.

The players have more respect for Cam's game than Kaepernick. I am actually surprise because the media is trying their best make RGIII, Kaepernick and Russell Wilson the darlings of the league.

You forgot Luck. But Russell Wilson is the best of them all. That dude got a gigantic 10.5 inches hand, the wingspan of a 6'3 tall person, with 4.5 speed, rocket arm and a legitimate pocket passer. Luck is an interception machine and will be exposed. The rookie excuse can't last for long.

Cant make a topic but this kind of ties in and I wanted to post it.

Just took a look over PFF's top 101 of 2012.  I still haven't gone over it in-depth but I was kind of surprised at what I found.

Also the Bucs have the most players on the list at 4:
Gerald McCoy- #20
V-Jax - #27
Lavonte David - #82
Doug Martin - #88

Falcons have 3:
Matt Ryan - #17
Tony G - #44
Roddy White - #49
No Julio Jones unless I missed him.

Carolina with 2:
Charles Johnson - #67
Gregg Hardy - #86

Saints have none.

that's unlikely. Having to carry a team as a rookie means putting the ball in the air a lot. Being a rookie means you throw a lot of INTs.

No Kuechly or Smitty?

No Julio Jones, either? BS.

Well PFF probably has the most in-depth analysis around.  They grade everything from the normal recorded stats to what happened on the actual play.  If a DT gets pushed back 3 yards off the line, points are deducted according to a specific formula.  It might not be right or wrong but they are just as good if not better than most sites.

Edit: Both Julio Jones (#73) and Drew Brees (#79) were on the list.

Reggie Wayne would take offense to that. Only way a QB can carry their team is if they amass lots of rushing yards. If you're putting the ball in the air a lot someone must be catching it a lot. Just like any other sport, you can't carry your team by merely assisting. Cam and RG3 were doing work on the ground(like Adrian Person) thus you can say they carry their team.

For every Payton, there is a reggie wayne, Damarius thomas, marvin harrison.

For every Brady, there is a welker, randy moss, givens.

For every Cam, well ace boogie aka killa cam doesn't come in pair.
