Clint Jackson tweeted that he believes it's down to UNC/IU.  I'll say IU, but I have no real grasp on the situation.

No way he commits to UNC with Justin Jackson already committing to UNC.

Also, if I'm not mistaking he is a Duke fan.

Personally I'd rather have Vaughn than Pinson anyway. If Theo committed to UNC, that might steer Vaughn away from the Heels (I know Pinson is a SF, but they could always play him at the two guard spot).

Vaughn's latest comments make me feel he's drifting away from UNC...  he's the one I prefer, too...  wonder what happened to make him rethink the Heels...

They must have been really recent because about a week and a half ago Vaughn was behind the bench of Joel Berry's (UNC commit) AAU team cheering for him.

On top of that as early as last week, he was retweeting UNC fans that were telling him to come to Chapel Hill.

decision on Wednesday. Where is BigQueefDaddy with the inside info? I thought his college room mate had an uncle with a nephew of a cousin on the team with Theo and Harry? Inquiring minds need their fix, guy!

Going to be hard for a school like Indiana to pluck an elite, 5* basketball player from NC. Who knows though...maybe he wants to start his own legacy somewhere else. Indiana is very prestigious with excellent tradition and history.

What did he say?

http://zagsblog.com/articles/after-nearly-committing-to-north-carolina-vaughn-say-hes-open/

“I went down there with my family and my coaches,” Vaughn told SNY.tv at the Nike EYBL stop here, reiterating comments he first made to Scout.com. “I liked the atmosphere of the Duke game and I have a good relationship with all the coaches. But I got back home and me and my parents talked about it, and we decided to just wait.”

Hoping he still comes to UNC, but I have to wonder just what made him back off...  Could just be deciding to slow down and not commit out of excitment, or some such...

Hopefully that's just it, he decided to slow it down.

A class if Berry, Vaughn, and Jackson would definitely have us moving in the right direction.

    • Lol you can keep your hot bean water. I love myself.  Jk some of the best coffee I ever had was fresh stuff in El Salvador a few years ago. Black with not even a grain of sugar or drop of cream and the stuff was amazing.
    • VERY impressive. This was 6 months work last year, intermittent fasting and getting after it with a friend of mine, she's ruthless

    • My worry isn't coming off the bench vs starting, it is Clifford playing him PERIOD. Clifford is absolutely terrible about giving young guys the burn they need to develop. Even when you had guys like Bismack looking like they were on the verge of figuring things out and averaging some great numbers per minute, Clifford wouldn't know what to do with them. Granted we haven't always had the best of young or rookie talent around here but NOTHING Cliff has done in his time here tells me he knows WTF to do with a player that isn't a 5 year vet. And seriously.. nothing against the MAN, he seems like a great person, but I'm 1000% done with the MKG experiment. He has taken up a roster spot long enough. Ill take someone that plays 3/4 of his defense and can actually put the ball in the bucket once in a while. Or, ya know, get the other team to play A LITTLE defense on them. His presence has gotten the idiot gm to overlook several FAR BETTER prospects over the years just because we don't want to admit he is a total BUST for where he was drafted. WAY TOOO MUCH EGO is wrapped up between the front office and MKG and its choking the life out of this franchise at times.
