Bennett or Muhammad for me.

Bennett bc hes LJ, jr.

Muhammad bc hes going to be a big time NBA baller.  Just watch.

Yup. Bazz is going to be a baller. He always had and even in a supposed to be bad season last year at UCLA, it really wasnt. His name will be mentioned more as a possible pick at 4 the next couple weeks. Fug the media. This kid will bring a ton of energy to Charlotte and would be a quick image for the franchise.

Shabazz is not a team player at all. You can tell that just by watching him play. Or heck, by looking at his statistics. How does he not even average ONE assist per game on a pretty loaded UCLA team? His scoring is not very efficient and he can't do anything besides shoot. If he wasn't a big name coming out of high school, he would be a late first round pick at best.

Nor is Kobe Bryant.

Here's some recent mocks

http://www.cbssports...raft/mock-draft   - They have the Hornets taking Len and Bennett in the two mocks that are up.

http://www.draftexpr...ock-draft/2013/ - They have the Hornets taking Oladipo

http://sportsillustr...l-ben-mclemore/ - Has the Hornets taking Oladipo

Noel, McLemore are the top two in every draft. Most have Washington taking either Porter or Bennett. Shabazz going in the 8th to 13th range on most mocks as well.

I think the top four in the draft is

Noel

McLemore

Bennett/Porter

Oladipo/Bennett

Nor is Kobe Bryant.

I'm a self-proclaimed Kobe hater. But his rookie season he averaged 1.3 assists per game. He doubled it the next year and added another 1.3 per game the year after that.

Heck, Byron Mullens averaged more assists LAST year than Shabazz did this year and DOUBLED Shabazz's apg number this year.

Add in the fact that Kobe averaged that in 15 mpg as a rookie and 26 mpg in his second year. His first year as a starter in 98-99 he averaged close to 4 assist per game. Since then he's been around 5-6 assist per game.

Shabazz played a lot more like a SF last season. Im not going to knock a good prospect down just bc his APG isnt as high as others. He's only 20 yrs old. Still a ton of room to learn and improve his game. I would be more worried about his PPG/RPG than APG.

Also, the offense for UCLA was very stagnant except for Muhammed running around screens. The design was for him to get a lot of shots.

Also lets be real his point guard was the same guy all the UNC fans were so happy to lose because the offense was so stagnant with him at the point.

Muhammed at UNC or Kansas and averaging less than 1 assist would be shocking to me

Damn Chuck you and I seem to be in agreement on these prospect. I thought you were a fan of McClemore? What made you change your mind?

I am bro. McLemore is still my number 1 guy, but that was yesterday. Today it's Bazz. It's a big change from thinking you're getting the no.2 spot to dropping to having the no.4. I would hope that McLemore is there at 4, but until it happens its hard to say. Right now, I'm being realistic and picking Bazz as the potential pick at 4. If we lose out of Noel and McLemore, Bazz is my favorite for the spot.

It hurts to lose out in the draft lottery but it happens to us every year so its becoming a thing of natural. From not liking Bazz 2 months ago to now having to regroup my list, my decision has changed. I have to think hard about it and I really have start to like Bazz more than I did a couple months ago. I'm rewatching the exact same highlights I trashed two months ago, and it actually looked better today. Why? bc it looks worthy of the no.4 pick, not the supposed to be no.2. When I trashed it, I did in so bc I didnt believe he was worthy of the no.2 overall pick. Also, I didnt believe that he should be taken ahead of McLemore.

Hopefully McLemore will still be available at #4. I think the Cavs are likely to take Noel. The Magic seem set on finding their next point guard, they wanted Smart originally but now I think they'll go with Burke; unless they trade back with a team that wants McLemore because they favor Schroeder or Michael Carter-Williams, in that scenario McLemore is gone, but personally I think they'll go with Burke. The Wizards don't need a shooting guard, so I think they will go for either Bennett or Porter. So hopefully that should leave us McLemore to take at #4. If he's gone to a team that has traded up, or because the Magic have decided to draft him and trade Afflalo for a pick or players, then we could always go with Oladipo, or even Bennett or McCollum.

Personally I think we've got a number of options to go with at #4, and hopefully we pick well and get another piece for this team's bright future.

Assuming Noel and McLemore are top 3 locks, I'd be fine with either Bennett or Oladipo. The only guy I really DON'T want is Len.

We passed up on a legit scorer like Barnes last year because there were "questions", guys like McLemore and Bazz fit that same mold. Are we gonna do it again this year?

I've never understood this comparison. The only similarities are that they are tall and have that stupid looking no-jump midrange shot. Brook Lopez put up 20 ppg his sophomore year in college. Len put up 12...
