Tar Heels Sign JUCO Offensive Lineman, Will Dancy

2 posts in this topic

The Tar Heels have added another player to their 2013 recruiting class as they have announced the signing of junior college offensive lineman Will Dancy.

Dancy who is listed at 6-4, 297 pounds plans to enroll sometime next month, and adds to an offensive line that is already in good shape with James Hurst and Russell Bodine. However, adding a another big body like Dancy can't hurt.

Apparently the most impressive thing about Dancy is his overall athleticism as he is super strong and is said to have one of the highest vertical's for an offensive lineman in the entire class.

I'm not going to act like I know much about this dude because frankly I've never heard of him until about 36 hrs ago. However, welcome aboard and we've have pretty good success with the JUCO guys. We had one get picked in the 1st round this year.

    • I like the use of props like in that old MTV allstar game where there was like 2 additional baskets above the main hoop. Could be interesting.

    • It seems like every year around draft time, huddle math kicks into full effect.  Somehow by puck 8 the top 20 prospects will magically be gone. Always amazes me.  Unless you are trading up to 1 draft a Peppers or Cam franchise can't miss prospect I don't see why this team would trade up with a pick in the top 10.  Use last years slump to your advantage and build your core.  Get 2-3 starting caliber (not necessary starters on this team but starting caliber) NFL players and some depth guys.  I like Fournette but there are other guys that can fill a role on this team who will be available.  No need to throw the draft away. Just my opinion.
    • Oh hell, make it 28 points. Boy, the failcons could have used that.
