I'll update it when I get home. Regardless, we will be in the luxury tax but it won't be by much. We'll be in the tax range at the $1.50 tax mark.

Don't quote me on this, but for every five million dollars you are over; there is a dollar amount that is multiplied to either your total salary or however many dollars you are over (not sure which one) and that is money that you send directly to the league.

How does the luxury tax work?

In 2013-14, the tax rate will be as follows:
$1.50 for every dollar over the tax threshold up to $4.9M over the threshold
$1.75 for every dollar from $5 to $9.99M over the threshold
$2.50 for every dollar from $10 to $14.99M over the threshold
$3.25 for every dollar from $15 to $19.99M over the threshold
$3.75 for every dollar from $20 to $24.99M over the threshold
An additional $0.50 for every dollar for each additional $4.99M increment after that

This is different than in other years when it was a flat rate above the threshold.  The incremental increase is supposed to deter teams from stacking rosters.

Bad Math. lol I used a flat 4.26 for Hendo's QO and a flat 3 million for McRoberts deal. Did a Flat 3,896,000 for Zeller's deal and added those to the cap listed on the salary page. Hence it ='s bad math. lol I was just giving posters a rough line of what the Bobcats were at salary cap wise.

I know nothing has happened yet, but we will end up being over the cap re-signing Hendo.  When another team gives him an offer, it will undoubtedly be over the QO we have offered him forcing us to match.  We own his Bird Rights, so we are able to match whatever another team offers if we choose to spend that much.
