oh no, 9 more crimes per 1000 people than the national average!

stay the hell away from durham if you ever come to north carolina pat

On a city of 700,000, that's 9 times 700

= 6,300 MORE

Yet fat Pat commits the crime of bestiality on his dog each night, He just never gets caught.

His unrecorded animalistic exploits would more than make up that 6.3k gap in crimes between the two cities.

Why are you so sudden to jump to comparing Metarie instead of New Orleans to Charlotte? Yeah, because New Orleans is a crime ridden shithole. Metarie is a suburb, Charlotte is a main city.

Let's compare nearby, similarly populated Concord to Metarie.

Concord vs Metarie
Violent Crime 5 6 4
Property Crime 6 6 4

Charlotte vs New Orleans
Violent Crime 8 10 4
Property Crime 8 9 4

Charlotte area wins hands down. And Concord isn't even the nicest Charlotte suburb.

Inb4 you jump to comparing Mandeville to Concord.

a higher population area is just generally going to have more crime than a lower population one.  naturally that's not always true in all circumstances (i'm sure compton and camden, NJ have worse crime than charlotte) but it comes with the territory of a larger city.

i'm sure metairie is a shithole compared to say, the hamptons.  but that comparison would be idiotic to make for several reasons, all of which would be lost on pat.

on another note it's super weird to see somebody slamming charlotte for being a "ghetto shithole".  normally saints and falcons fans just call it a boring whitebread town with no personality or whatever the company line is at the moment.

In fairness to New Orleans, the entire city looks just like a few blocks of Northeast Tryon near the Amtrak station.
