also i always get a kick out of it when people complain about a city "not having a personality" or some such.

the only thing that lacks a personality is the kind of dipshit who lets his space define him instead of vice versa.  if you want to use where you live as an identity just move to new york or LA like every other bland tool in america.  then you can tell people on the internet that they've never had "real pizza" or "real mexican food" as applicable like a true winner.

Across the nation, an average of 38.17 crimes occur per every 1,000 citizens. North Carolina as a whole is slightly lower than this average, with 38.11 crimes per 1,000 citizens.

Charlotte, N.C. works to pull up the state average. Charlotte sees an average of 47.02 crimes per 1,000 people, according to an online service called Neighborhood Scout.

The city, which is home to over 730,000 people, was ranked by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the top 25 American cities with large populations in terms of crime occurrences in 2010.

Oh look, another top 25 ranking!

His unrecorded animalistic exploits would more than make up that 6.3k gap in crimes between the two cities.

Why are you so sudden to jump to comparing Metarie instead of New Orleans to Charlotte? Yeah, because New Orleans is a crime ridden shithole. Metarie is a suburb, Charlotte is a main city.

Let's compare nearby, similarly populated Concord to Metarie.

Concord vs Metarie
Violent Crime 5 6 4
Property Crime 6 6 4

Charlotte vs New Orleans
Violent Crime 8 10 4
Property Crime 8 9 4

Charlotte area wins hands down. And Concord isn't even the nicest Charlotte suburb.

Inb4 you jump to comparing Mandeville to Concord.
